Ottawa – From May, all eligible Canadians will be able to apply for federal dental care programs, the federal health minister said.
The program was originally launched for the elderly in December 2023 and has been expanded in phases to cover children and people with disabilities.
In May, the plan will be open to other Canadians who earn less than $90,000 and do not have private insurance.
