A man acknowledged that he was trying to kill a police officer during a insane attack motivated by an anti-government ideology.
Alexander Dighton injured three officers during a driveway outside the Talbot Green police station in Rhondda Cynon Taf, South -wallison January 31.
The 28-year-old man launched the attack after arming himself with body weapons, a Molotov cocktail, a knife, a hatch and a wooden pole.
He was trapped on CCTV who walked in the direction of the station just before 7pm before lit a Firebomb and threw it to a police vehicle.
However, when it did not set fire, Dighton got a second bottle out of his backpack, threw the contents of it on the car’s bonnet and tried to set it on fire. He also started a small fire under the wagon.

Dighton then used the wooden pole to hit the windows of the vehicle before paying attention to attacking another police vehicle.
When officers rushed outside and ordered him to drop his weapons, he refused and said, “I’m fed up, I’m done.”
Police tried to spray and spray him, which had little effect, partly because of the body weapons he was wearing.
Dighton attacked the officers when they tried to withhold him. He stabbed One of them in the leg, hits another one in the head and swings his pole to another.
Two of the three officers had to be taken to the hospital for treatment.

After his arrest, he claimed to have been motivated by an anti-government ideology.
Dighton, of Llantrisant, appeared in the Old Bailey on Friday, and he pleaded guilty to ten charges, including the attempted murder of a police officer, and tried to do serious bodily damage to intentionally, assault, attempted arson, possession of a slandered article and criminal damage.
He rejected the opportunity to be legally represented, despite being notified that the maximum sentence he faces was life in prison.
Dighton told Mrs Justice Ceema-Grubb: “Authority is not my problem. This is the use of authority that is the problem for me, the use of authority that I have been since I was 15, that is my problem.”
The court heard that Dighton had no previous convictions – and it was questioned whether he had Asperger syndrome or a form of autism.
He was arrested and will be sentenced on May 13.
The counter -terrorism division of the Crown prosecution service presented to the court that his offenses should be regarded as a terrorist context because he was motivated by an anti-government ideology.
