Adversaries attempting to recruit laid-off government workers as spies: Intelligence

Foreign opponents, including Russia and China, are aimed at state workers who have been fired amid the Trump administration’s experience to reduce the size of hiring as spies, according to New Intelligence.

“New intelligence shows agents from China, Russia and other countries have directed their views of recently fired test workers or security authorizations, hoping to receive valuable information about the US critical infrastructure or interests of national security,” according to intelligence, spread by the US coastal security guard.

Coast security does not develop intelligence, but rather spread it as a warning to coastal security officers around the world.

“Posting your dissatisfaction, the status of a recently fired employee, or other information about the OPSEC sensitivity can make you a goal,” the notice said. “Our opponents have successfully pursued upset and dissatisfied government workers during past joints.”

Military members can be attractive goals, according to intelligence, because of the information it can have access to.

The news comes as two active on -duty soldiers have been accused of plotting for the sale of classified materials to China.

Coast security said the storytelling sign of foreign agents trying to recruit ex -civil servants is something that is too good to be true, noting that it is probably the case.

“Your contact can praise too much or focus on your skills/experience, especially if your government’s affiliation is known,” the notice said, adding that the meaning of urgency can be an indicator.
