The Australian television star Richard Zachariah has died.
He died Wednesday, at 80, only four months after his former partner, coanfrerion and renowned fashion icon, Maggie Tabberer, died.
The celebrity couple was co-elanfitrion of the popular show of The Home in the ABC in the 1990s and were together for 10 years from 1985 to 1995.
Mr. Taberer, a fashion model and icon, edited the weekly magazine of Australian women widely circulated for 15 years from 1981.
Zachariah was also a radio personality and the author of several books, including The Vaneded Land, which draws the history of the Western District of Victoria.
In an interview with ABC’s conversation time in 2917, Zachariah spoke about the missing land and the incredible wealth of family dynasties in the area.
“I love the western district,” he said.
Zachariah attended Hamilton College in western Victoria, where his father was also a director.
The Wakefield Press editor said he was a “lifelong racing fan.”
He lived in London, Sydney and Melbourne before moving to Adelaide Hills, said the editor.
Guyetts will celebrate a funeral for Mr. Zachariah on April 23 at the Eastern Park Chapel in Warrnambool in Victoria.
