Democratic Senator Sheldon Whithaus, Dr.I., said on Sunday that the Republican Party forces democratic legislators to have to choose between the support for a continued resolution to finance the federal government or to withstand more cuts to it.
Senate’s minority leader Chuck Sumer, NNY, and nine other Senate Democrats voted with the Republicans to go to CP, but his support caused a reaction to the Democrats, some calling for a change in leadership.
“When you find out how dangerous the exclusion is, it is even more understandable why they would feel this way,” Whitehaus, who voted against the resolution, “Martha Raddac told ABC News.” And so I think what we need to do is stop intramureral battles and bleed as quickly as possible. We are currently struggling for our democracy and if we fight in our dugout, we are not on the pitch, and the other team inserts tracks. “
