Specsavers is back with a new OOH asset that sees a new turnaround in its sight.
This time, the Essencediacom media buyer had a ‘I should have gone to the Specsavers’ Moment in guaranteeing the Billboard space for the last advertising campaign.
Climbing at Ponsonby Road in Auckland, just a large -scale billboard fraction is visible to passers -by after a neighboring building was erected a few years ago.
Although the advertising space exists for over a decade, the considerable outdoor OOH remains the same since the side has built and rising, creating a little joke between the locals and the broader creative industry.
“Although the number of possible pedestrian traffic may have looked good on paper, the” media buyer “obviously did not see how much of the announcement they would actually view,” joked Anri Mchugh, chief marketing – awareness and consideration, Specsavers Anz.
Intended landslides
The new Outdoor follows the success of previous OOH campaigns, with the well -known brand slogan, who saw the media suppliers “install” the announcements of heads upside down on the sides of the bus and digital in central panels, receiving a lot of attention from the public that was eager to notify the brand of intentions internally.
“This last campaign continues our approach to simple and effective creative, giving our brand slogan to life in a fun and humorous way. It’s a kind reminder to Kiwis of all ages to take care of eye health while making them smile. The campaign illustrates that, regardless of the kind of work you do, attention to detail and vision can make a big difference, ”added Mchugh.

Chloe Leuschke, Mango Communications Aotearoa -Managing Partner Adds: “After seeing all the great global creative work for the famous’ should ” brand slogan, it is exciting to bring the concept to Aotearoa. We knew that this billboard would be perfect for the concept and we are excited to see it come alive. ”
The outdoor can be partially seen in passage, or the whole foot on foot, at 132 Ponsonby Road from now on until the end of June 2025.
