Statistics Canada said on Tuesday that inflation rate fell to 2.3 per cent in March each year, compared with 2.6 per cent in the previous month.
These figures ignore analyst expectations, who expect inflation to remain unchanged from February. Experts believe that Canada has managed to keep inflation below 2% since the GST/HST holiday lasts from December 9 to February 15.
