Blue Origin’s All-Feemale Crew, which includes pop star Katie Perry, launches in space on Monday morning.

It marks the first fully feminine space flight from 1963, according to the company.

The window for the most recent launch of the Shepard rocket was opened on Monday morning around 8:30 am CDT, according to Blue Origin.

“I dreamed of going to space for 15 years and tomorrow this dream is becoming a reality,” Perry said on social media on Sunday.

The 11th crew of the new Shepard flight, which is officially called the NS-31, is expected to exit the company to launch the company in Western Texas.

Along with Perry, the crew includes the fiancé of the owner of blue origin Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sanchez, who is also a helicopter pilot.

Journalist Gail King, a former NASA Aisha Bow scientist, a bio -astronautics research scientist and civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, and director Keriana Flynn, round the flight crew, according to Blue Origin.

The flight will last only about 11 minutes and will reach a height of about 60 miles above the ground. Karman’s line, considered the boundary between the atmosphere and the cosmic space of the Earth, is 62 miles, so Perry and its crew members will not actually be launched into orbit.

The most recurring entirely female space flight was the solo space flight of Soviet astronaut Valentina Tereshkova in 1963, Blue Origin said.
