Firefighters warn the public to stay away while responding to a ‘significant’ gas explosion in a residential street in Nottinghamshire.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) said they work with emergency services from nearby Derbyshire on Saturday to respond to the incident in a home in John Street, Worksop, Saturday.
It is said: “It is a gas explosion that involves a home that is significantly damaged.”
Videos posted on social media showed that the front of a terrace house was blown out, while neighboring homes damaged their windows.
NFRS added that eight engines also respond to an industrial fire in the nearby Holgat Road in the Meadows, Nottingham.
Firefighters did not say that these incidents were connected.
