Will Poulter believes that ‘Warfare’ is “a film against war.”
The 32 -year -old actor stars with characters such as Joseph Quinn, Connor Kit, Michael Gandolfini and Noah Centineo in the new action movie, which tells the story of a Navy Seal mission in Iraq in 2006, and Will has revealed that he admires the filmmakers for making ‘Warfare’.
In statements to the BBC, Will explained: “Hopefully this film contributes to a better understanding of how negative and how the consequences of the war are characterized by many losses … I think this is both a film against the war as it is possible that you can see.”
The cast agreed to shave the other’s head in preparation for the film, and Will has admitted to having developed a strong link with his co -star.
The actor born in London, who embarked on a three -week military boots field as part of his preparations for the film, said: “We shave our heads the first day and we made tattoos at the end of the process, so he reserved the experience.”
Connor Kit also developed a strong connection with his co -star.
The 21 -year -old actor shared: “He was really formative to me. I have made friends that I really think I will know for a long time.
“We all wanted to commemorate it, we are very proud of the work we have done together.”
Ray Mendoza, who co -directed the new film with Alex Garland, actually worked as a sea seal in the Iraq war.
And admitted to having looked for something very specific to the cast of the film.
The director explained: “I told them this, so I’m not trying to offend them, but we weren’t looking for the best actors. They are all great actors. We were looking for the right actors.
“So, what that means is your willingness to push your bodies beyond a level of comfort to which they are not accustomed.” You will be exhausted. You will be forced to trust other people. Meanwhile, Will recently admitted that he discovered that the filming of ‘Guerra’ is a unique professional challenge.
The actor portrayed a real life of real life in the film and confessed that playing a real life person proved to be a different challenge for him.
