The often irritated Republican Republican Republican Republican Rep. Nancy Mace posted a video on social media on Monday in which the ‘evil’ voters calling her office to complain.
Hundreds of people called, Mace reports, after arranging a city meeting last month through the LowCountry Accountability Alliance in South Carolina.
Several Republican lawmakers were included during the town hall meetings by voters who are upset about the state of affairs in the country under the Trump administration, including continued high groceries and endangered services such as Social Security and Medicaid.
Mace insisted that it is “not safe” for her to attend the City Hall of South Caroline, claiming that the event is led by “left wing extremists”.
In her video on Monday, Mace said that complainants were ‘nasty’, ‘ugly’, ‘hateful’ and ‘evil’.
She first claimed that only “one of 300” people who call to complain that she has skipped the town hall has a specific concern about a federal service. Then she said that ‘about half’ of the callers had a specific complaint. She characterized the calls as ‘BS’.
“What you all do is angry. It’s completely angry, ‘she addressed those who called.
“Do something nice for someone in the LowCountry. Keep in this way. Stop being violent with your words, ‘Mace continued.
‘Help those in our community. Help those in need … You have no problems to be solved. You are just nasty. ‘
She marked the video: “My message to Deranged Town Hall Fakers – Listen!”
Guang Ming Whitley, organizer of the City Hall of South Carolina, said in an interview on ABC News 4 that the planned meeting “is not a hoax”, but an opportunity for “concerned citizens” to let their elected representative know.
“I think it’s a pity that we live in a world where anyone who disagrees with you is going to be weakened or extremely branded,” Whitley said.
“It’s not a hoax, it’s a group of concerned citizens – moms with children, people with work, people living in Mount Pleasant,” added the Mount Pleasant Town Council member and Mayor Pro Tempore.
