An avid thief smashed a glass display cabinet and stole a piece of jewelry from a store in Tecumseh shopping mall in Windsor for an estimated $50,000.
Windsor police are looking for suspects after the robbery at around 5 p.m. Friday at the shopping center at Tecumseh Rd 7654. E.
Police said a man with a face covering entered the business, smashed a display cabinet, grabbed the jewelry and fled to a black pickup truck in the parking lot.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
There are no reports of physical harm from store employees or shoppers. During the robbery, unsuspecting shoppers can be seen sitting outside the indoor store in surveillance photos taken by the busy Eastside shopping mall during the robbery.
The suspect was described as a white male, about six feet tall and slim.
He wore a blue scarf, a black baseball cap, a black hooded sweater, orange and black gloves, black jeans, and white and black sneakers on his face.
The vehicle is described as a black GMC Sierra pickup truck with chrome trim, chrome five-spoke wheels and a Z71 decal on the bed.
