Three injured in the Russian rocket strike on Kyiv

At least three people were injured and several fires broke out in Kyiv early today after a Russian missile attack, the mayor and military administration of the Ukrainian capital said.

The entire Ukraine was under air warnings from 02:00 after the country’s air force warned against an attack, including on regions bordering Poland, which forced NATO to scream aircraft to ensure air safety.

Fires were recorded in at least three Kyiv districts, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said in a telegrampos. Medics admitted two civilians in the Darnytskyi district on the eastern bank of the Dnipro River in the hospital that divides the city, he added.

“Don’t leave shelters behind!” Mr Klitschko said.

The extent of the attack was not immediately clear. There were also no reports about strikes or damage in the west of the Ukrainian regions bordering the Bole border.

Poland scrambles aircraft after Russian strikes on Ukraine

Zelensky meets European military leaders to plan for a peacekeeping force

Volodymyr Zelenskyy met the leaders of the British and French army in Kyiv yesterday to discuss the possible deployment of a multinational peacekeeping force to Ukraine, despite the unwillingness of US President Donald Trump to provide security guarantees.

At least three women were injured after several fires broke out in a Russian air attack on the Southern Ukrainian region of Mykolaev late last night, Ukraine officials said.

The attack – a day after the least 19 people, including nine children, were killed in strikes in the city Kryvyi Rih – also damaged several homes, the Governor of Mykolaiv, Vitaly Kim, placed on Telegram.

One of the women was hospitalized, and the other two were treated on outpatient base, Ukraine’s emergency service said. It posted photos and videos of firefighters struggling in a house in a home at night.

Zelensky says he is disappointed with the US embassy reaction on the Russian rocket

Volodymyr Zelensky expressed disappointment about the reaction of the US embassy to a Russian rocket strike that killed 18 people, including nine children, in his hometown.

Mr. Zelensky, who was careful to criticize Washington openly since an uncomfortable meeting of the White House in February with President Donald Trump, wrote on social media website X that several embassies in Kyiv condemned Friday’s attack and singled out Russia for executing it.

He noted that the message of the US embassy made no reference to Russia to condemn the attack.
