The United Kingdom is in talks with Brazil about the ‘potential sale’ of the Royal Navy’s two amphibious assault ships that are cut around the cost, the Ministry of Defense confirmed.
Defense experts said the fact that HMS Bulwark – which has just received an expensive relocation – and HMS Albion is knocked down, underlines the pressure on the defense budget, though Sir Keir Starmer Keep talking his promises To increase expenses.

The news of the possible sale was first unveiled in Latin American media.
One report said that the Royal Navy and the Brazilian Navy signed an agreement in which the UK would provide information to the Brazilians about the two ships before any purchase.
Asked on the allegation that the UK will sell the assault ships to Brazil, a spokeswoman for the Defense Ministry said: ‘We can confirm that we talked to the Brazilian Navy about the possible sale of HMS Bulwark and HMS Albion.
“As announced in November, both ships are turned off from the Royal Navy. None of the Royal Navy. None of them are planned to go back to the sea in front of their outdoor service dates in the 2030s.”
James Cartlidge, the secretary of the Shadow Defense, questioned the wisdom of the move.

“The substitutes for these ships have been away for a few more years and will only be available in the 2030s.”

Mr. Savill added: “As aside, Brazil is likely to have a greater amphibious capacity than the UK, after buying HMS Ocean, the UK’s helicopter assault ship.”
HMS Albion and HMS Bulwark employed two decades ago.
Both are currently being held with a lower readiness that they were not in the sea 2023 and 2017 respectively.
HMS Ocean, a helicopter-country vessel and once the largest warship in the Royal Navy, was sold to the Brazilian Navy in 2018 after 20 years.
