Donald Trump told members of his cabinet that Elon Musk would leave his government role in the coming months.

A senior White House official told NBC News, Sky’s US partner network, that the US president discussed the Tesla and X boss transferred to the private sector last month at a cabinet meeting.

Mr. Trump said he called a ‘Patriot’ at the end of the meeting on March 24.

The president said in the Oval Office on Monday that Mr. Musk will return to its businesses at some point.

The official said that Mr. Musk will leave as a special employee of the government at the end of his 130 days. It would be May 30, but it is unclear whether the billionaire businessman will leave on that date.

It comes days after Mr. Musk said that some members of its effectiveness of government (doge) were Get dead threats on a daily basis.

Mr Musk criticized his efforts to reduce the US federal government.

In a few weeks, entire agencies were broken down and tens of thousands of workers of the 2.3 million federal workforce were fired or agreed to leave their jobs.
