As the Democrats continue to express dissatisfaction with Elon Musk’s extraordinary role in the transformation of the federal bureaucracy, new efforts of the Capitol hill are heading to the Ministry of Government Efficiency (DOG), while proposing on the market to confirm the congress of the supervisory authority over the executive body.
The California Democratic Representative Sydney Kamlager-SV offers the Law on Protection of US Diplomacy, which would ban the executive branch from reorganizing the State Department without consulting and approval of congress.
“They eradicate foreign help and I will not be complicit in this,” Kamlager-Dave, who sits on the Foreign Affairs Committee, told ABC News in an exclusive interview before the bill released on Wednesday. “It is a pity that they crush USAID – this means that US farmers will not have contracts that they should usually produce crops to sell them in other countries. By crushing foreign help, it also means that people in other spaces will become ill.”

The measure, which has more than 20 democratic original correspondes, requires any major reorganization of the State Department to be adopted by law by an act of Congress and calls on the Secretary of State to submit a detailed plan of Congress on the foreseen reorganization of the administration and assessing any influence on the US diplomatic box.
“We have three pillars: defense, development and diplomacy,” Kamlager -ov said. “All these things are very important when you are trying to stop us from entering war. And if we are going to get rid of these tools in our toolbox because of some decent thing called the DOCE, which uses taxpayers dollars to actually hurt taxpayers, I have the feeling that I have a responsibility to say.
The bill has consequences for non -compliance, embedded in the legislative text, directing the congress to reduce the financing of the DOG and even prohibit the journey for the political appointed to President Donald Trump, including any member of his cabinet, if the administration initiates a reorganization that surrounds the congress.
“Dog works in the shadows,” Kamlager-Dauv said. “So some of the elements of mismatch of the bill are to attract small sunlight so that we have an idea of what actually happens.”
Although the administration signals that some eliminated jobs may be potentially absorbed by other federal agencies, the bill also prohibits the fact that it happens without a congress.
Kamlager-Doove explained that her grip with the “is not about effectiveness”.

“It is about illegal access to our systems and our codes and the theft of dollars of taxpayers and doing things in the shadows,” a representative said.
“The American people deserve to know what is happening. If what Dog is doing is so big, then I would think that they would be more than ready to come to the congress and share with us and the American people everything they do,” she added. “But the reality is that they are reluctant to share this information.”
With the narrow Republican majorities in both the chambers and the White House of Trump – there is virtually no chance of the bill to become the law of this Congress session. But at a minimum, it gives Democrats, which are powerless on the legislative front, another campaign report, along with their hopes of taking over the majority in Congress.
However, the Kamlager-Doove claims that the measure is more than a messages bill.

The US reporter Sydney Kamlager (D-CA) spoke during the election of us to fight: no one has chosen the Elon Rally at the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry of the Ministry. “At the moment, there is a lot of dysfunction with this Republican congress and the reason why we probably won’t have this to come back is that the Republicans are afraid of too much of the bill. If it goes out for a vote, then they will have to put their cards on the table,” Kamlager-Dovi said. “They should say, I admit that the Congress is complicit in himself and is self -confident and gives all his power to Donald Trump.”
Despite its long chances, Kamlager-Doove maintains optimism that its bill will not be lost to thousands of other bills while Democrats work in minority.
“I hope that this bill, having other bills like this, speaks of these issues in the Commission, will shake their brain and clear the hypnotic fog they are in,” she said. “If you continue to beat the drum, you are doing forward and this is a bill: defeating the drum.”
