Val Kilmer, the actor who played in the top gun and played Batman and Jim Morrison, is at 65 years old, reports the New York Times.
His daughter Mercedes told the newspaper he had died of pneumonia.
Kilmer was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2014, but later recovered, she said.

The actor, who played Tom ‘Iceman’ Kazansky in Top Gun with Tom Cruise acknowledge that he did not want the rolewho made him famous.
But he said he begged to be part of the successor, Top Gun: Maverick, even to contact the producers and create ‘Heartrending scenes with iceman’. It would be his final acting role.

In addition to his roles in the top gun, Batman Forever and the doors, he interpreted in a real romance, heat and kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
He was one of the best -paid actors in the 1990s and in 1992 the film critic Roger Ebert wrote: “If there is an award for the most unsamped leading man of his generation, Kilmer must get it”.
In 2020 he published a memoir entitled I’m Your Huckleberry: A Memoir.
Actor Josh Brolin calls Kilmer a “smart, challenging, brave, uber-eating fire worker”.
He shared a photo of the two on Instagram and wrote: “See you, Pal. I’m going to miss you. You were a smart, challenging, brave, Uber-Creative Fire Worker. There isn’t much left of it yet.
“I hope to see you up there in heaven when I finally get there. Until then, incredible memories, lovely thoughts. ‘
In an Instagram post actor Josh Gad called Kilmer ‘an icon’.
He said, “RIP falls Kilmer. Thank you for defining so many of the films of my childhood. You were truly an icon.”
