A pedestrian died after being hit by a UTE in Canterbury.
The accident happened between Malvern Hills Road and Duke Street in Sheffield.
It was reported to the police around 6:40 am on Tuesday.
State Highway 73 was closed at the scene of the accident and police asked the public to avoid the area.
The police accident unit was examining the scene.
