Min Woo Lee plans to celebrate his victory in the Houston Open basin with the best family golfer.
In addition to rising above Adam Scott to become the new number one of Australia in the male ranking, the 26 -year -old completed another strange double with his epic victory over Scottie Scheffler on Monday AEDT.
Min Woo and Sister Minjee are only the third brothers in notches on the tours of PGA and LPGA, respectively.
The reads were already the only law of Brothers-Sister who won the title of Junior fan of the United States. And last year he represented Australia in the Olympic Games in Paris.
In spite of all his talent, Min Woo has often admitted that he is not even the best family player, since he has lived for a long time in the shadows of the double senior champion Minjee.
But it is approaching at least in the classifications.
While Min Woo has increased to number 22 in the world in the male ranking, Minjee has fallen from second to 18 in the classification of women, after having run out of victories since 2023.
It is not surprising that Minjee was the first family member to congratulate him on a Facetime call after ensuring his first PGA Tour title.
“I called my family and my mother was crying as always. Dad was very happy,” said Min Woo.
“My sister was the first to pick up. Yesterday I talked to her about dinner tomorrow.
“She is in Las Vegas and I live there and is playing a LPGA tournament there.
“So it will be great to see her. I have not seen her a little, so it is great to have a sister who is really good in golf, and she will also win soon.”

Progressing as a serious mastery contender when the first commander of the season begins on April 10, Min Woo still recognizes that Minjee could have the wood on him if they played with each other.
“If we play from the same t -shirts, I will smoke it because I hit it very far,” he said.
“But if she played on her shirts and I played from mine, she would be quite close.
“Now he has the long putter so he can put and is going very well in the last two months.
“In the long run, I think I could beat me. It’s a robot. I would probably have reached 19 streets in 18 streets today because it’s a robot.
“She is very simple and controls the ball very well. Over time she will win, but if there was a little sprint, she could win.”
