The boss of Primark resigned after acknowledging a ‘judging error’ in his behavior towards a woman in a social environment.
Paul Marchant retired after an investigation as CEO of the High Street Fashion brand.
Primark’s parent firm, Associated British Foods (ABF), said he worked with the investigation, and “acknowledged his judgment error and accepted that his actions fell under the standards ABF expected.”
“He apologized to the individual, the ABF council and also to his colleagues in the Primark and others related to the business,” the firm added.
