The Princess of Wales said nature has been her family’s ‘sanctuary’ over the past year, in a message to celebrate Mother’s Day.
Kate, who announced in March last year that she was undergoing cancer treatment, posted the message online along with a short video with photos of her and Prince William in Norfolk last summer.
The cut also exhibits some of the most striking natural environments in the UK – from forest world and fields to the coastline and the ocean.
In the message, signed “c”, the 43-year-old princess Wrote: “Over the past year, nature has been our sanctuary.
“Let us celebrate this Mother’s Day and celebrate Mother Nature and realize how our bond with the natural world can not only help cherish our inner self, but also remind us of the role we play in the rich tapestry of life.”
The princess underwent a course of preventative chemotherapy after her cancer diagnosis.
In January she praised the ‘extraordinary’ care she received at the Royal Marsden reveals that she was in remission.
The king (76) was also diagnosed with cancer last year and has a “Short period of observation in hospital” Thursday after experiencing side effects of his treatment.

The Royal family’s Official X account also shared two photos online in celebration of Mother’s Day.
One image shows a young Prince Charles and Princess Anne who attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show with the late Queen Elizabeth in 1956.
The second photo shows the late mother Rosalind of Queen Camilla with her oldest grandson, Tom Parker Bowles.
The message reads: “Wish all mothers and those they miss today, a peaceful motherhood Sunday.”
