The traditional idea about the federal election is that US President Donald Trump’s tariff war on Canada has exceeded that of carbon tax as a voting issue.

But this is a wrong framework for the jeopardy.
The decisive problems Canadians face are the high cost of living and the decline in our living standards, including the negative impact of Trump tariffs and free carbon taxes on our economy.

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development predicts that Canada will have the lowest real GDP per capita growth rate from 2020 to 2050, lower than that of all other members of Canada that belong to Canada, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Germany, France, Italy, Italy and Japan.
