Cancelling the F-35 contract may be good politics – but it’s bad for Canada

Generally, it is considered state-of-the-art in terms of flight and combat capabilities, 1.6 speeds, advanced sensors and long-range and its electronic warfare capabilities. However, it is very expensive, with an aircraft costing more than $100 million.
