According to the government, the state -owned media reported on Saturday that the death toll of a powerful 7.7 earthquake in Myanmar jumped to nearly 700.
Mar reported that 694 people were now found dead and another1.670 injured, with 68 other injured, according to a statement from the military guided government.
The earthquake struck the second largest city of Myanmar on Friday with an epicenter that is not far from Mandalay, which sent buildings in many areas falling to the ground and caused other widespread damage.
