Police have arrested a man and are looking for a second suspect who suffered serious injuries after stabbing near Church-Wellesley, Toronto.
After 9 a.m. Friday, officers from the Toronto Police Department (TPS) were called to church and Maitland Street.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a person who was stabbed. The medical staff took the person to the hospital for serious but lifeless injuries.
Police said a male suspect was arrested nearby.
Investigators have limited descriptions of the second suspect, who described as male, black, wearing a black/red/blue coat and black pants.
Two schools in the area were shelved and secured when police searched the area, but were canceled since then.
